Wisdom Tooth
Jacqueline reminded me that I have a blog. haha… Shall update this for her sake!!
I just went for wisdom tooth extraction yesterday, it was a horror sitting on the dentist chair again. Didn’t have very good experiences doing braces. But I must say that my dentist was superb!! He was really fast despite my tooth needing to be drilled into 4 pieces, and he was really encouraging! Was complaining to him and the nurses that I was feeling very scared. They really made it a pain-free & panic-free experience for me, and the best part was: they allowed me to listen to my iPod!! yay!!
I must say that anaesthesia and painkillers are such brilliant inventions, once the surgery was over I was yakking away with the nurses and my dentist. But once the anaesthesia wore off… Gosh… the pain was so overwhelming my vision got blurry and I felt like fainting!! Ya, painkillers work well enough, but right now, they’re just making me moody and drowsy…………
( and I’m kinda OCD… the fact that I can’t brush my teeth but rinse my mouth with the prescribed mouthwash… OMT…
Anyway, I’m just very happy that the difficult side’s done, and by the time school starts, all the swelling and pain should have gone away. I’ll see if I’m brave enough to do the other side during the next hols. haha…
